Description
This Typing Cuff Was Designed As Assistive Technology For A Person With Poor Fine Motor Control In Their Fingers, And Works With Capacitance Touch Screens Such As The Ipad, Iphone, And Android Tablets. It Can Also Be Used To Type On Standard Keyboards, Phones, Calculators, Etc. It Is Printed From Conductive Pla. The One I Printed Is Made With Protopasta. There Is A Conductive Foam Tip Installed In The End To Made It More Responsive. I Used A Small Piece Cut From A Fresh, Unused Scotchbrite Sponge, But Any Conductive Sponge Will Do. Once The Typing Cuff Is Printed, It Can Be Custom Sized And Bends Made By Heating It Up With A Heat Gun. Revision 5 Is A Thicker Version. We Had Trouble With Layer Delamination Along The Length Of The Stylus, And The Finger Cuff Breaking Off, So I Made Everything A Little Thicker. I Recommend Printing With At Least 40% Infill As Well.
