Replacement pieces for a cheap Chinese Respirator
Description
I Had Been Using A Bandanna For Protection From Breathing In Sawdust In The Woodshop. Then I Picked Up A Cheap Chinese Respirator On Sneezebay. Being Too Cheap To Buy A Decent One At The Local Hardware Stores. It Works Fairly Well For The Most Part. But I Did Have Two Of The Tiny Little Plastic Pieces Break On Me. So At First I Was Going To Use The Broken Pieces, Glue Them Back Together Then Make An Rtv Mold From Them, Then Re-Fabricate Them Out Of Epoxy Putty. But Then I Had A Procrastination Day And Decided I Needed A Distraction. So I Sat Down And Modeled Them In 3D. I'Ve Printed These In Pla On A Makerbot 2. They Work. But Then I Had A Couple Friends Offer To Print Them In Abs On Their Home Printers For Me. The Abs Should Hold Up Better. But So Far The Pla Pieces Are Holding Up Fine. I'Ve Included All The Files Needed For These. I Modeled These On Tinkercad, So You Can Find The Model Files There As Well. They Need No Supports Nor Rafts, So A Set Of Two Pieces Prints In Just Over 10 Minutes! If Anyone Knows What These Pieces Are Actually Called, Please Leave A Comment So That I Can Update My Thing.
