Description
I Decided To Start From Scratch. This Right End To The X Axis Was Created From Scratch. The Idler Pulley Is Designed To Accommodate The Smaller Pulley Bearings Used By Hictop. In Addition, I Wanted To Experiment With A Plastic Lead Screw Nut To See 1) How Does It Hold Up And 2) Can It Eliminate Float On The Z Axis. I Have Been Using It For A Few Days And So Far, It Is Working Well. I Am Getting The Best Quality Prints On This Printer. Enjoy. The Linear Bearings Sleeve Is Closed And Is Press Fit. Btw, I Did Get Ideas For Parts Of This From Several Other Designs. I Have, However, Never Seen A Printed Lead Screw Nut.
