Pergo 100mm Extruder Calibration Bar

Pergo 100mm Extruder Calibration Bar

Description

Update: Based On Danzca6'S Comment I Put More Effort Into This. Now You Can Mark 90, 100, And 110Mm. See It'S Good To Voice All Opinions! :) It'S So Hard To Get My Calibers Into The Printer To Mark Off Exactly 100 Mm For Before You Tell Your Printer To Extrude Exactly 100Mm Of Filament For Calibration. So... Here You Go. Just Hold The Bar In Place And Mark With A Marker Then On Your Controller Move The Extruder Axis 100 Mm And Adjust Control/Motion/"Esteps/Mm" If You Extruded Too Little Bump The Number Up If You Extruded Too Much Bump The Number Down Make Sure You Measure The Extruded Part To Be Sure It Is 100Mm. Remember That If Your Calibrating Your Extruder, You Make Have Reason To Believe That It'S Not Right! Example I Had 9.25 Mm Left And Setting Was 728.0 I Moved It To 745.0 To Get My Perfect 100 Mm Extruded. To Get The Numbers To Print In Cura You Will Need To Use A .25 Mm Nozzle. Using A .4 Nozzle All Prints Ok But The Numbers Are Not Printed. ** Expect To Have To Re-Figure Your Z Offset If An Esteps/Mm Setting Is Changed.
