MecanumBot - VEX Robotics Chassis
Description
This Is My Latest Vex Robotics Chassis Creation, Continuing On The Theme Of My Previous Designs. It Is A Chassis For A Four Motored, Four Mecanum Wheeled, Programmable Robot Using Vex Edr Components. Extendable By Attaching To The Front And Back Bumpers, Or The Micro-Controller'S Mounting Points. I Would Only Suggest Printing The Sleeker, More Compact Version Two (Purple In Photos). Version One (Black In Photos) Is Only Included For Insight Into My Design Process. While This Chassis Will Accept Either 3-Wire Or 2-Wire Edr Motors, It Is Not Designed To Accommodate Motors With Integrated Encoder Modules. I Figured The Likelihood That Someone Would Want Mecanum Wheels With Integrated Encoders Was Low; I Hope I'M Not Wrong.
