AAP-01 Barrel with Integrated Silencer
Description
I'Ve Designed A Fully Working Silencer For My Project Of Silent Aap-01. Reduces Noise By Almost 20Db, Measured By The Exit Of The Barrel. The Biggest Noise Is Still Made By Blowback System, I Hope To Cancel It By Building Noise Dampening Addon To Upper/Stock. I Went With A Bit Bulky Design For 2 Things: 1) To Accomodate Large Chambers For Depressuration Of Exiting Gases, Without Need To Use Any Filling Like Sponge Etc. 2) To Be Easily Customisable If Needed I Will Design Few Versions Of It, According To Field Tests. This Model Is Without Any Rails Because I Intend To Have Optics Only On Rail On Custom Made Upper But Straight Surfaces Make It Easy To Add Any Rail You Want If You Wish. Uploaded Solidworks Part File For Easier Customisation. Inside Chambers Are Inclined 40 Degrees For Supportless Printing. Print With Support Touching Buildplate Only, In Vertical Position ( Base Of Barrel Down, Barrel Exit Up) Recommend To Use Abs Or Petg For Durability, But Pla Is Still Fine After 2 Cqbs.
