Tablet holder for Amazon Fire on Celestron CPC Telescope
Description
This Is A Amazon Fire Tablet Holder For A Celestron Cpc Telescope (Or Any Telescope That Uses 2 Inch/50Mm Diameter Tripod Lets). I Purchased A Wifi Adapter For My Celestron Cpc Telescope To Use The Sky Portal Android App To Control All The Functions Of My Telescope Instead Of Using The Handbox. There Is A 1 Inch /25Mm Slot Between The Tube Mount And The Tablet Holder. This Is For A Velcro/Hook And Loop Tape "Belt" To Hold The Holder Against The Tripod Leg. This Prevents The Tablet Holder From Falling Off The Tripod Or Sliding Down The Tube. You Will Need About 12 Inches/ 30Cm Of Hook And Loop Tape. The Screen Is 100% Visible When In The Holder, So It Is Not Necessary To Remove The Tablet To Use It. I Added A Small Drain Hole On The Bottom Of The Holder. If It Should Accumulate Dew/Rain/Snow/Dirt, It Will Have Somewhere To Drain Out--Assuming The Tablet Is Not Installed In The Holder. Lastly, This Holder Will Probably Work With Other 7" Tablets, But It Was Specifically Designed For The Amazon Fire 7". Also, This Holder Will Fit Other Telescopes With 2 Inch/50Mm Tripod Legs--Ie Sky Watcher Eq-6 Or Orion Atlas Eq-G Mounts--Just Use The Sky Safari App, Instead Of The Sky Portal Program.
