Description
A Miniature Model Of The F-86 Sabre. The F-86 Sabre Served Extensively In The Korean War. The Sabre'S Rival, The Mig 15, Performed Better Than The Sabre, But Pilot Training, And Advanced Technology, (For The Time) Allowed The F-86 To Have A Very High Kill-Loss Ratio. It Was Exported To England In A Highly Upgraded Version, And To Thailand. Thailand Also Bought The Aim 9 Sidewinder. Interestingly, A Thaiwanese Sabre Engaged Chinese Migs, And Fired The New Sidewinders. One Hit A Mig, But Did Not Explode, (Due To The Newness Of The Technology) Allowing The Mig Pilot To Land His Plane Safely. Using The Sidewinder As A Prototype, The Chinese And The Russians Copied The Missile, And Used It Until They Developed Their Own.
