Minolta MC/MD to Canon EOS mount

Minolta MC/MD to Canon EOS mount

Description

This Is An Adaptor For The Minolta Mc/Md Lenses So They Can Fit Into Canon Eos Dslr Cameras. The Main Difference Between This And The Commercially Available Solutions Is That This Design Is Made With The Flange Focal Lenght In Mind So You Can Accurately Use The Focus Distances And Even The Infinity Focus On The Minolta Lenses. This Is A Work In Progress And I Will Continue Updating It. Since I Don'T Have A 3D Printer Of My Own I Have To Take It To My Local 3D Printing Facility So Changes On This Project May Be A Bit Slow. -Update: Mount Mkii Has A Bigger External Diameter In Order To Compensate For The Abs Shrink Issue. It Didn'T Work As I Expected But I Uploaded It In Case Someone Can Learn From My Mistakes. After A Little Work With The Rotary Tool For Sanding And Adjusting The Size Of The Flaps (?) It Fits On The Camera Mount And I Finally Took My First Pictures Without Holding The Lens With My Hands. Since I Did Not Adjusted The Internal Diameter For Shrinkage (And Since My Original Design Is Flawed Anyway) The Minolta Lens Do Not Fit As Expected, Giving It An Aditional 3Mm (Or So) Of Flange, Making It Unable To Focus Objects Beyond 120Cm. Next Time I Will Print On Pla To Get Rid Of The Shrink Problem. On A Side Note: Abs Plastic Is Way Softer Than I Imagined. Latest Update: This Was My First Project, It Is A Good Idea But To Get A Really Good Piece I Need To Invest More Time And Since I'M In College And Doing Other Stuffs I Can'T Tell When That Will Happen. Given The Experimental Nature Of The Piece It Should Have Been Version 0.1 Instead Of Mk Something. Feel Free To Use It As A Starting Point But Don'T Expect It To Work Perfectly Or You Will Be Dissapointed. That Said, Thanks To Everyone Who Commented, Downloaded And Tested The Model, I Hope You Get Some Use Out Of It.
