Migbot Prusa i3 Dual E3D v6 mount with dual blower fans
Description
I Wanted To Upgrade My Migbot Prusa To Dual Extrusion So I Took Some Hints From Andrefaggionrp'S Solution And Created My Own. I Also Wanted To Mount Two Blower Fans As They (In My Opinion) Offer Better Performance Than A Standard Case Fan. Be Aware That The Dimensions Of The Clamp Holes Are Pretty Tight, So Depending On The Accuracy Of Your Printer You Might Need To Do Some Post Processing. To Screw The Two Clamp Parts Together You Need Two M3 Screws At Least 25Mm Long If You Plan On Inserting The Nut On The Other End. Letting The Screws Bite Into The Plastic For Hold May Work As Well, But Obviously Wouldnt Be As Strong. The Thermistor And Heater Cables Can Be Routed Through The Hole In The Middle, The Two Outer Holes Are For The Hotend Fans. For Mounting The Fans I Took Some Wood Screws I Had Laying Around. The Whole Contraption Mounts To The Standard Migbot Carriage The Same Way The Old Extruder Does. Due To Height Changes, The Sensor Mount Is Also Slightly Shortened. In Order To Get A Good Airflow Through Both E3D Hotends, You Can Simply Mount One Of The Two Hotend Fans Backwards So It Pulls Air Out Rather Than Push It In. Keep In Mind That This Solution Has No Room For Height Adjustment So You Need Two Perfectly Equal E3Ds Or You Have To Post Process The Clamp A Little Bit.
