I Have A Tubular A-Frame Synthesizer/Keyboard Stand That I Purchased In The Mid 90'S. Previously I'Ve Purchases More Pipes For It At Local Industrial Metal Store, And I Wanted More Parts To Build It Out. So I'Ve Designed Some Replacement Parts That You Can Print Out And Build Your Own A-Frame Keyboard Stand. ###Update 10/10/2016 Today I Just Finished Making Some Extra Synth Support Bars. I'Ve Added A Picture Of The Bars, And Picture Of Tubing Being Cut. The Bars Have A Bevelled Hole Drilled Near The Center, Then A 1//4 Inch Hole At The Front Of The Bars With A 1/4 Inch Rolled Pin Pressed In. I Then Cover The Pressed Pin With Some 1/4 Inch Id Tubing, Cut Just Long Enough To Cover The Exposed Pin. This Tubing Protects The Synthesizers. ###Update 07/29/2016 I'Ve Added Files That Let You Build Angled Connectors. Improved The Tee Connector So That It'S Much Stronger. I Recommend Only Using Polycarbonate, Or Abs Polycarbonate Alloy. It'S Much Stronger. ###Update I'Ve Made The Tee Clamp Fully Customizable Using Scad!! Many Parameters That Are Easy To Adjust With Comments To Hopefully Make Them Easier To Understand. Editing This File You Can Easily Make Many Different Types Of Clamps For Many Different Types Of Pipes. Just Open The Keyboardracktee.Scad File And Edit The Variables. Press F6 To View It, Then Export The Stl For Printing. Note: Keyboardracktee.Scad Uses Boltmount.Scad So Customizer May Not Work With It. ###Here Are The Parts I Have Made: - Small Clamp For Joints, Synthesizer Support Bars, And Support Braces - Tee Clamp ###Here Is What You Will Need To Buy - Knob (I May Be Designing One Of These Soon) - Screws 1/4" 20 X 1" And 1 1/2" - Nuts 1/4" 20 Thread - 1.5" Thin Walled Aluminum Pipe -- The Store I Go To Has Them In Different Anodized Colors - 1/4" Thick Aluminum Bar -- This Makes Up The Support Bar Under A Keyboard Or Synthesizer -- Various Lengths Based On The Depth Of The Keyboards You Are Mounting -- These Are Rounded On The Front And Back So You Don'T Hurt Yourself Bumping Into Them - 1/4" Press Pin -- This Prevents A Keyboard From Slipping Off The Support Bar - 1/4" Vacuum Cap -- This Covers Up The Press Pin So It Doesn'T Damage A Keyboard ####Small Clamp Variations: - A Single Small Clamp Is The Support For A Keyboard Bar - Join 2 Together To Make An Angle Joint (The Top Of An A-Frame) - Join 2 Together Using An 1/8" Thick Aluminum Bar, Approximate 1.5Ft Length To Make A Brace Between Two Tubes To Prevent Wobble. These Stands Are Notorious For Wobble, But You Can Very Easily Strengthen The Stand With A Couple Of These Braces. - I'Ve Included Lots Of Picture Showing The Real Stand Parts And How They Are Connected. ##Update - Small Bracket Prints In **1H 37M** - Tee Bracket Prints In **3H 32M** ###Openscad - I'Ve Switched Over To Using Openscad Instead Of Sketchup Since It Gives Me Greater Control To Adapt The Clamps To Any Size Pipes. The First Test Of The Openscad Tee Clamp Is Amazing. **Completed** ###V2 - Updated Inner Diameter Pipe Hole - Updated 1/4 20 Nut Holes To 13.75Mm Diameter For Perfect Fit With 1/4" Nuts ###Short Clamps Fully Tested The Short Clamps Are Printing And Working Fine
