X-carriage with sensor mount for E3D direct-drive hinged extruder
Description
This Is A Slightly Modified X-Carriage Originally Produced By Ffleurey. I Upgraded The Hot-End On My Prusa I3 To An E3D V6 And Wanted To Continue Using The Auto Levelling Sensor I Had Previously Added. This Is The Sensor It Was Designed For: Https://Www.Amazon.Co.Uk/Gp/Product/B008Lt3Xy2/Ref=Oh_Aui_Search_Detailpage?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1 The Idea Of Doing It This Way Was To Make It A Little More Accessible For The Odd Occasion When I May Need To Adjust It (Happens Once In A Blue Moon), So I Could See The Sensor Light When The Probe Is In Use, And Finally To Get The Sensor In A Safer Position. The Original Design Of My Printer'S X-Carriage Included An Addon For This Type Of Sensor But Made It Protrude Out Beyond The Frame/Screen Housing At The Top And With A Big Enough Print This Might Get In The Way. This Tucks It Under The Rest Of The Assembly And Keeps It Out Of Harm'S Way.
