Kindle Voyage One Handed Reading Case
Description
So Two Days After Ordering A Kindle Voyage, Amazon Announces The Kindle Oasis With It'S Large Side/Grab/Thing Making One Handed Reading Easier. That Has Always Been My Primary Complaint With E-Readers With A Touch Screen. They Are Hard To Hold One Handed And Read Because A Slight Touch To The Screen And You Are Turning Pages Or Hitting Menus. The Voyage Is No Different And Possibly Worse Because Of The (Albeit Nice) Side Buttons On Both Sides Of The Device. I Decided To Do Something About It Inspired By The New Oasis. I Hopped On Tinkercad And Created A "Frame" With A Large Side Handle And It Worked Well But I Had Mis-Measured The Width And Length Of The Device By A Couple Millimeters. Given The Relative Success Of The Print I Decided To Redo It Again In Fusion360. I Created An Actual Version 1 In 360 And Printed It And That Is What My Voyage Is Currently Using. But It Still Had A Couple Of Small Issues. The Power Button Was Still A Bit Difficult To Get To, And The Frame Blocked The Power Charging Port. Thus, Version 2 Was Born And That Is What I Now Upload Here. The Frame Is Intentionally ~ 1/2Mm Not Wide Enough So That It Keeps A Bit Of Tension On The Device So It Won'T Fall Out If It'S Turned Upside Down. Thus You Can Also, Albeit Without The Charging Port Or Power Button Holes Being In The Right Places, Put The Oasis In Upside Down And Use It Right Handed As Well. As It Is, It Is Set Up To Be Held In The Left Hand.
