Prosthetic Hand Attachment : I Phone Holder
Description
Hello All! My Name Is Rachel Thompson And I'M An Engineering Major At Seattle Pacific University. I Designed, Modeled And 3D Printed This "Thing". It'S A Prosthetic Hand Attachment Which Allows Amputees To Hold A Cell Phone With Their Prosthetic Hand (Designed By Spu). My Design Has Two Main Parts, The Bottom Piece Which Anchors Into The Prosthetic Hand And Two Elongated Arms Which Slide Into The Other Part- The Top Piece. Together The Two Pieces Can Hold A Cell Phone With The Aid Of A Rubber Band Which Is Attached To The Hooks On The Back Sides Of Both Pieces (As Shown Above In The Photos). The Rubber Band Creates The Tension Required To Hold The Phone In Place In The Mechanism. The Design Is Simple And Easy To Print, Just Download My Files And Print The Top And Bottom Separately And You'Re Good To Go! Important Disclaimer: The Photos Of My Print Are Of Version 1.0, And The Files Are For Version 2.0, So When You Print, It Will Look Slightly Different, But No Need To Worry! Version 2.0 Is New And Improved! Also Fyi This Model Is Sized For I Phone 6 And 6 Plus, But It Can Easily Be Re-Sized To Fit Larger Phones And Tablets As Well! Enjoy, And Happy Printing!
