Fan Shroud for Intel Bay Trail Processor (ECS BAT-I Board) - 40/80/120mm fan
Description
This Is A Cooling Shroud For An Intel Bay Trail Processor. I Have An Htpc Powered By An Ecs Bat-I Motherboard With An Intel Pentium J2900 Processor, And I Was Running Into Intermittent Issues Where The Chip Would Get Too Hot And Start Throttling The Speed Down. The Processor Does Not Have A Fan By Default, And Since It'S Not A Socketed Processor The Options For Aftermarket Coolers Was Limited. It Was In A Closed Cabinet With A 4 Bay Nas And A Couple Other Thinks So I Know It Was Primarily Due To A Lack Of Air Flow. Since I'Ve Added The Cooler I'Ve Had 0 Throttling Issues And The Cpu Temp Has Dropped An Average Of 15-20C. Overall I'M Very Satisfied. I Designed All 3 At The Same Time, But The 40Mm Provided More Than Enough Airflow Without Causing Any Kind Of Clearance Issues In The Case.
