Sunhokey X Carriage Near Direct Feed
Description
My Sunhokey Came With The Bowden Extruder. It Sucks.. Slipping And Popping.. Shortening The Tube Helped, But Still Persisted. So I Wanted A Simple Direct Feed Extruder. No More Popping/Slipping And Extrusion Is Consistent. Ozzing And Blobbing Is Gone As Well. Still Uses About An Inch Of Bowden Tube But This May Change To Increase Build Height. * Build Height Is Currently Decreased Due To Design * (You Can Move The Extruder Motor Forward To Increase The Build Height But Using The Stock Hotend Support It Will Require Bending The Bowden Tube A Bit) Stock Parts Are Used. (1) Additional Linear Bearing Is Required. You Have To Rotate The Extruder Mount To The Top Of The Motor, Then Use The Same Screws To Secure It. * There Is A Small Cut Out On The Right Side To Allow Room For The Extruder Motor Wires As You Push It Into The Mount. Its A Somewhat Tight Fit And The Wires Could Get Torn If You Don'T Watch Out. * Added A Few Tweaks To The Uploaded File. Printing It Now With The Previous Version And All Seems Well. Will Test It Shortly. The Four Square Holes On The Left Side Are For Securing Any Wires With A Couple Of Zip Ties.. Will Be Tweaking This As Time Allows..
