Description
This Was Made For Requirements Specific To My Circumstances And While Not Universally Useful For Those Without The Selected Gadgets I Had In Mind, I Believe The Design Can Be Customised For A Variety Of Other Gadgets. Before I Thought Of This, I Had An Apple Wireless Keyboard And A Bamboo Pen And Touch Tablet All Wirelessly Connected To A Tv Display. (Shown In The Gallery) The Devices Were Kept Separate When Not On A Platform I Had Cobbled Together From An Old Bookstand. With The Bookstand As My Source Of Inspiration, I Designed This Rather Inclined Shape With A Base Wide Enough To Fit Across My Lap. The Space In Between Also Allows Me To Insert Other Remote Sensing Devices Like The Tv Remote And Aircon Remote. As A Side Benefit, The Platform Can Also Act As An Inclined Laptop Stand! Future Versions Would Have Smaller Dimensions As I Realise I Was A Bit Conservative And Generous With My Measured Estimates. Hope You Guys Enjoy! Edit: To Secure The Apple Wireless Keyboard To The Top Of The Rails, I Recommend Adding Velcro On Both. If Not, You May Find Your Hands Constantly Knocking The Keyboard Off.
