3DR Iris Transmitter phone mount v3
Description
*** Improved Version Of Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:807082 *** After Using V2 For A While, I Came To The Conclusion That A Death-Grip On The Phone Was Unnecessary. The Fingers On The Phone Bracket Have Been Slimmed Down. The Original Phone Mount Clip Broke Easily So It Was Replaced With A More Robust Solution. The Bracket On The Transmitter Has One Leg To Allow For The Antenna To Swivel To One Side. I Can Now Put The Transmitter In My Case Without Having To Remove The Mount. The Pieces Were Printed In Pla At .2 Mm Layer Height And 75% Density. The Center Mount Piece Is Tapped With M3 Threads. Printed Pieces Hold Threads Well. M3X25 Socket Head Screws Hold The Clips And Spacer To The Center Piece. An M4X45 Flat Head Screw Holds The Mount To The Transmitter Bracket. A Nut Secures The Bolt To One Side Of The Arm. The Well In The Thumb Screw Holds An M4 Nut. An Additional M3X15 Screw Bolts The Mount Pieces Together.
