Geeetech G2S Stock Effector Plate Dual E3D V6 Bowden Upgrade
Description
This Is My Attempt At Making A Custom Mount For My Geeetech G2S Printer To Use The Dual E3D V6 Hotends With A Bowden Connection. I Tried Several Of The Other Plates On Here, And While They Are Some Great Designs, It Would Cause My Arms To No Longer Be Parallel And Rather Than Continue Trying To Add One Fix On Top Of Another, I Figured I Would Try To Just Make A Mount That Is Similar To The Stock One, But That Fits The New Hotends. I Really Disliked The Stock Hotends That Came With This. It Was So Difficult To Level Them Without Taking The Entire Thing Apart. So Far On This One, You Can Only Level Them Just By Sticking A Few Shims In Between The Top Piece And The 'Spider' Piece. I Use Parts Of Cut Up Paper. If Anyone Has Suggestions, Please Let Me Know, As I Have Not Designed Many Functional Things And I'M New To The Whole Delta Design (I Normally Use An I3) So I Am Sure There Are Things That I Didn'T Know To Account For. It Just Uses M3 Nuts And Bolts Just Like The Stock Mount. V2: -Made Two Different Clamps To Fit Better. You Will Need One Of Each. -Added Screw And Nut Fittings In Center Of Plates. V3: -Adjusted Size Of Openings In Both Mounts V4: -Made Bottom Mount Thicker To Prevent Vertical Hotend Movement -Removed Clamps, Not Enough Room To Fit With Heatsink Fins. -Added Small Caps To The Lower Mount To Help Prevent Horizontal Hotend Movement --You Will Need To Print Two Of The Caps.
