Description
This Model Is An Ongoing Project To Have A Mostly Complete Model Of A Ford Zetec Engine That Can Be Constructed And Separated In Mostly The Same Way A Regular Engine Does. The Assembly Is Currently At 0.25 Scale Of The Real Engine Which Brings The Overall Engine Dimension To Roughly 165Mm(H) X 105Mm(W) X 141Mm(D). Currently, With The First Test Prints Being Unsuccessful Due To The Detail Of The Parts And Size Of The Prints The Scale Is Likely To Change To 0.33 So That More Detail Is Included In The Printed Part And Also Allowing A Easier Construction. Obviously Due To Its Size And Number Of Parts This Is No One Click Print And You Have An Engine But Would Make A Nice Project For Any One Looking For A Challenge. Update 1 23/01/13: Scale Has Now Been Changed To 0.33. Fits For All Parts Have Been Modified To Give A Better Fit During Assembly. The Dowels Used For Assembly Have Made Common So One Size Of Dowel Is Needed.
