Quiet Brass Practice Mute

Quiet Brass Practice Mute

Description

I Designed This For My Flugelhorn. It Uses A Wall Spy Mic So The User Can Enjoy Their Buttery Melodies At Full Volume While The Neighbors Sleep. After The Files Are Printed Tap The 3 Smaller Holes In The Mute Body Part With A M4 Screw, Wrap One Revolution Of Weather Stripping Halfway Up The Body, And Secure The Mic Inplace Using The Screw And Mic Cover Part. Tip: The Mic Is Very Sensitive And Can Get Very Load And Distorted. Adjust The Sensitivity So You Can Barely Hear The Valves Move. There Will Be Some Constant Static. If The Mute Is Not Quiet Enough, Or You Want More Air Resistance, Stuff A Small Clothe Through The Side Openings. If You Want Less Resistance, Cut Away The Bottom Vent Hole Or Drill More Holes.
