IEC320/C14 Plug Mount for 40mm vslot Extrusion
Description
This Is A Mount For An Iec320/C14 Socket And Switch I Found On Amazon: Https://Www.Amazon.Com/Gp/Product/B00X74Buw8/Ref=Oh_Aui_Detailpage_O02_S00?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1 This Mounts To 4040 Or 2040 V Slot Extrusion From Openbuilds. 1)Cut Out The .25Mm Support Layer Above The Nut Traps, And Insert The Nuts Into The Traps. 2) Tamp The Bottom Surface Onto A Flat Surface To Seat The Nut Traps Flush. 3) Run Your Wiring Through The Bottom Hole And Solder It To The Tabs On The Back Of The Connector 4) Bend The Wiring Downward In The Direction Of The Hole, And Then Insert The Iec320 Plug Into The Mount 5) Secure It With M3X45Mm Screws And Washers. The Bottom Of The Screw Should Be Flush With Or Above The Bottom Surface Of The Part 6) Use 4 M5X10Mm Screws And Post Assembly T-Nuts To Attach It All To Your Extrusion. Note: The Bottom M3 Screw Does Run Through The Cable Out Hole. This Didnt Matter Much To Me, And Gave Me A Place To Zip Tie The Wires To For Added Support. However, You Can Use A Shorter Screw And Just Put The Nut And A Washer At The Top Surface Of The Hole If You Want To Free Up More Space For Thicker Wires To Exit. ------ Changelog ------ 9/8/2016 - I Designed This Last Night And Printed It. Everything Appears To Fit Perfectly. I Will Get It Installed Today And Post Some Pictures.
