DNA, B-form base pairs
Description
Edit: I Have Included Updated Models. The Pins Are Slightly Thicker, Making Them More Robust When Printed At A Smaller Size. I'Ve Gone Ahead And Added The A-Form Dna Versions As Well (Gc-A And At-A). I Was Working On A Blender Script To Automatically Pin Ball-And-Stick Nucleic Acid Models. I Tested It Using An Idealized B-Form Dna Model (Coot). Workflow: Coot (Model) Pymol (Ball-And-Stick Representation) Blender (Automatic Pinning Script And Unionize) These Were Printed 0.2 Mm, Supports, In Pla At 195C. I Would Recommend Using A Raft Or Putting Supports Under/Around Any Spheres That Will Be Down On The Build Plate. They Have A Tendency To Pull Off. The Pins Do Need A Little Cleaning Up, But I'Ve Made The Holes In The Phosphate Slightly Larger Than The Pins So It Shouldn'T Need Too Much.
