Description
This Is A Remix Of The Original Lcd Control Box For Ramps 1.4 Made By B-Cup. I Wanted To Modify This To Fit The Reprap Discount Lcd That I Already Had. Also Changed The Back Panel To Fit Jst-Sm Connectors Instead, Since I Also Had Those On Hand. Found A Great Model By Turpinator And Used His Jst-Sm Panel As A Template. This Box Is Much Wider To Fit The Longer Lcd. The Front Panel Does Have A Bit Of Room And I Plan On Adding Some Switches In Later On. I Also Included The Original Backplate With Rj45 Keystones Just In Case Somebody Wants That. It Has Just Been Modified To Fit The Larger Enclosure. Also Used Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:35438 For The Faceplate. The Thing Editor Wouldn'T Allow Me To Find It In The Search Results. Note: This Is Still Heavily A Work In Progress. I Have Not Yet Printed Or Tested The Fitment. Update - 10/25/16 - Had An Issue With The Mounting Screw Locations And Fixed That. Also Added A Variation With Mounting Holes For Rocker Switches For Things Like Led Lighting, Fans, Etc.
