Nozzle Extender for Ryobi 40V Cordless Leaf Blower
Description
I Recently Bought A Ryobi 40V Cordless Leaf Blower. I Really Like It, But The Nozzle Seems A Bit Short And I Found Myself Bending Over, Trying To Reach Closer To The Ground While Using It. I Noticed That A 2.5" Shop-Vac Extension Tube Is Almost The Exact Diameter Of The Output -- If Only There Was A Way To Attach Them... Not Wanting To Use Duct Tape Or Permanently Modify The Blower, I Designed This Mating Collar. Please Note That There Is A Gradual Taper From One End To The Other. The Larger End Goes Onto The Blower, And The Smaller End Points Away From The Blower And Holds The Extension, Which Is Made From: You'Ll Need One Of These From Home Depot: Http://Www.Homedepot.Com/P/Ridgid-2-1-2-In-Extension-Wand-Accessory-For-Ridgid-Wet-Dry-Vacs-Vt2508/100050604 Cut About 6" Starting From The Female End And Jam That Through From The Larger End Of The Collar Toward The Smaller End. Wedge It In Good And Tight So It Won'T Come Out On Its Own. You May Have To Sand Down The Ridge So It Will Fit In Far Enough. Now You Can Easily Install (And Remove) The Whole Assembly Onto Your Blower As Needed. (I'M 5'10" And A 6" Extension Worked Nicely. Adjust As Needed.) I Suppose If You Have A Larger Z Axis, You Could Extend The Design And Print The Whole Thing As One Piece, Or You Could Design And Print A Second Piece Instead Of Buying The Vacuum Extension -- But I Already Had One Sitting In My Garage And Didn'T Want To Spend So Much Time (And Filament) Printing It.
