Gimbal Case For Rollei 410
Description
I Built A Crossfire 2 And Wanted To Add A Gimbal For My Rollei Action Cam 410. A Rollei 410 Action Cam Is Thicker Than An Gopro Because Of The Display. And That´S Why It Tilted Only A Bit Downwards Before The Back Hits The Roll-Motor. Overall It Worked And You Find This First Design Here As "Rollei_Case.Stl". I Then Mounted The Cam Upside-Down And Added Some Counterweight To It´S Side. Now It Worked As I Wanted: Https://Www.Youtube.Com/Watch?V=S7Huokjo0Ey I Decides To Redesign The The Case For The Upside-Down Mounting. This Design Is The "Upsdown"-Thing. I Added The Arms Made By Mikeyb As Well - In Comparison To The Originals They Are Mirrored For The New Mounting Method. Electronics: I Used A Storm 32 Brushless Gimbal Controller (Bgc) And Two 2208 Motors. You Find Everthing Needed For Configuration Here: Http://Www.Olliw.Eu/Storm32Bgc-V1-Wiki/Main_Page The File "Cross_Gim_Controller.Stl" Is A Plate I Used To Mount The Storm 32. Here Another Video With The Gimbal In Action On A Windy Day: Https://Youtu.Be/Rfhgfipkrgc I Added The Freecad-Files Too. Update Jan. 2017: I Added A Shortened Battery Tray To Reduce A "Trembling/Swinging" Of The Cam I Noticed, After I Mounted A New Print Made From Abs. For The Same Reason I Printed The New Tray In Pla Again, Which Is A Bit Stiffer.
