Mono Price Select Mini Extruder Lever Arm (overbuilt)
Description
This Is A Remix Of The Other Lever Arm Located At Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1743385 But This One Has Had What I Feel Are Some Improvements In Function, Not Necessarily "Form". I Overbuilt This Version Because The Replacement At The Link Above Basically Replicates The Same Design (With Its Inherent Flaw) Changes Are: 1 - The Spline The Bearing Sits On Is Far Closer To The Factory-Designed 3.0Mm Than The Original. I Made It 2.89Mm To Allow For Users Who May Not Have Their Unit Dialed In Dimension-Ally. (If I Make A 2.89Mm Part, It Prints Out At 2.89Mm...That'S "Dimension-Ally") 2 - The Bearing Area Has Been Raised .35Mm To Allow The Bearing To Line Up Properly 3 - The Exterior Of The Arm Itself Has Been Majorly Beefed Up. By 2 Or More Mm In Most Areas, Some Even More. I Don'T Mind Wasting A Little Plastic Here To Save A 30Hr Print Down The Road. The Included Picture Is Of A Prototype I Made. The Stl File Is The Beefed Up Version With A More Rounded Outer Edge (Far Thicker Than Stock) Behind The Bearing And Mount And Additional Braces That Are Located Above And Below The Filament Feed Hole. I Have Since Printed This Version But Forgot To Take A Picture Of It. It Works Great And My $200 Mono Price Is Back To Performing On Par With My $2500 Makerbot And My Ffcp And Ffcx. Now If I Could Just Get It To Print Abs Reliably...Lol Updated To Add A Pic Of Thefinal Printed Part
