X Axis Stepper Cooling System
Description
Scale This Model Up To 104% So That It Will Fit. Also If Your Stepper Motors Don'T Have The Notch Between The End Plates And The Middle Section, This Design Will Not Work For You. Some Steppers Are Smooth On The Corners. This Is A Nema 17 Stepper Motor Cooling System That Works Really Well. My Steppers Used To Get Too Hot To Touch, But Now It Operates At Close To Room Temperature. You Will Need 4 M3 X30Mm Screws And 4 M3 Nuts. You Can Either Use A 50 Mm Fan (Which I Haven'T Tried) Or You Can Purchase This 40Mm Fan Installed Into An Extruded Aluminum Heat Sink. Https://Www.Amazon.Com/Gp/Product/B0009B0K2I/Ref=Oh_Aui_Detailpage_O05_S00?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1 Please Note That The Thermal Adhesive Will Not Keep The Heat Sink Attached By Its Self, Since It Is Mounted Vertically Gravity Will Eventually Take Its Toll. Please Post Your Makes! Out Of All My Designs I Still Only Have One Make... :(
