Assorted Spacers
Description
This Is A Pack Of Spacers In Assorted Sizes. Each Is 30Mm Long, And I Have Included Versions For #4, #6, #8 And 1/4" Screws Or Bolts. I Have Sized Them So That They Fit Tightly Enough To Actually More Or Less Thread A Screw Or Bolt When Printed On Typical 3D Printers, But Under Any Stress They Will Strip. If You Want Ability To Thread Screws Or Bolts Into These With A Strong Grip, Then I Recommend Scaling The Width And Depth Down By Say 99%. Any More Than That, And You'Ll Risk Cracking The Spacer, Though You May Be Able To Get Away With A Little More Reduction If You'Re Very Careful And You Use A Tough, Springy Material Like Nylon Or Petg. The Height On All Of These Is 30Mm, But You Can Easily Change It To Any Height You Like By Stretching In Your Slicer. I.E,, Stretch Them To 300% And Presto, You'Ll Get 90Mm Long Spacers. In Fact, If You Play With Percentages Of Stretch For Width, Height And Length, You Can Custom Make A Spacer Of Any Size And Length For Any Screw, As Long As It Will Fit In Your Print Area! The #4 Spacer Is A Good One For This Because Its Inner Diameter Is Exactly 3Mm. Thus, To Make A Spacer For A 1" Diameter Screw: 1" = 25,4Mm. 25.4Mm/3Mm = 8.46. Stretch The Width And Depth By 846% And You'Ll Have A Perfect Spacer For A 1" Diameter Screw Or Bolt, Though Admittedly Ridiculously Bulky.. ;-)
