Duplicator i3 80mm Fan Back Plate
Description
I Wasn'T Impressed With The Airflow Of The Stock Fan On My Maker Select V2.1, And I Had An Antec 80Mm Pc Fan Just Sitting Around Unused, So I Made This Back Plate So That I Could Mount The 80Mm Fan On The Control Box Of The Maker Select. I Used Some Slightly-Longer M3 Bolts To Mount It To The Control Box. I Used Some Screw Inserts To Mount The Fan To The Back Plate. I Got The Screw Inserts At Mcmaster Carr, Here: Https://Www.Mcmaster.Com/#Catalog/122/3320/=15Ctwg9 I Printed Mine With Esun Petg, .2Mm, 50% Infill, Just A Skirt, No Brim Or Raft. I Forgot To Add Supports, So The Overhang For The Power Plug Wasn'T So Pretty, But It Gets Hidden Anyway. I Would Recommend Using Supports If You'Re Using Petg. I Designed It In Tinkercad, And I'M Very New To Cad. It'S Not Exactly An Engineering Marvel, But It Gets The Job Done.
