Breadboard Spring Vise Full Size in Two Pieces
Description
My Large Printrbot Is... Um.... Let'S Just Say Inaccessible For The Moment. My Monoprice Mini Select Isn'T Large Enough To Print The Full Baseboard. So I Cut It In Half With Some Alignment Holes. You Probably Don'T Have To Glue Them Together, But You Can. With A Breadboard Rubberbanded In Place, The Two Pieces Stay Together Well Enough. I Print In Petg On A Heated Piece Of Buildtak So I Didn'T Bother Putting The Anti-Curl Disks At The Edges. Would Probably Print Well In Pla Too. If You Use Abs You Might Want To Put The Disk Back At The Other Side. Note You Need The Original Stls To Get The Openscad Program To Work. Also--Probably Obvious--But You Need To Print 4 Of The "Jaws" From The Original. The Jaws On One Side Counterbalance The Ones On The Other Side With Rubber Bands Between Them. So Go To The Original Source To Get Those And The Baseplate Stl If You Want To Regenerate It. Note The Alignment Slot Is About 1Mm Larger Than The Alignment Tabs. That Way If You Are Overextruding, You Get A Little Play.
