Description
Needed A 12Vdc Electrical Binding Post For My Xterra And Thought I Could Make It Instead Of Buying One. I Designed It In 123D Design And After Printing It I Went And Bought Some 1/4" Stainless Steel Hardware (1/4" X 3/4" Bolts, Small 1/4" Flat Washers, 1/4" Nuts). I Pushed Them In And Then Held The Bolt In Place With A Nut, I Then Used 5 Min Epoxy To Fill In The Space Behind The Bolt Head. This Not Only Holds The Bolt In Place But It Also Electrically Insulates The Bolt From Any Metal It May Be Attached To. The Bolt Is A Snug Fit So There Will Not Be Any Twisting Of It Inside The Printed Plastic.
