The Ham Radio Has Exposed Contacts On The Battery. Always Afraid Some Bolt Or Nail Will Touch It When I Transport It With Random Other Stuff. Just For That Fear I Always Transported It Separately. But With This Cover It'S Much Safer And Random Items Shouldn'T Short-Circuit The Battery.
