Saunakauha

Saunakauha

Description

In Finland We Have Sauna. In Sauna, We Have Kauha (Ladle?) That Is Used For Throwing Water To The Kiuas (Hot Rocks). Sauna + Kauha = Saunakauha. Some Time Ago My (More Traditional) Wooden Kauha Went Bad. Just Introduced To The Wonders Of 3D Printing And Modeling, I Decided To Designed New One. Well, Not The Handle Part, The Printer I Had At That Time Was Way Too Small For Printing Long Objects, So I Reused The Wooden Handle From Original Kauha. I Used Pla, Even Though The Temperature In Finnish Sauna Is Over 70 C Minimum Or It'S Not A Real Sauna. Pla Isn'T The Best Material As It'S Glass Transition Temp Is Around 60 C. But As Long As The Plastic Is Kept In Saunakiulu (Sauna Waterbowl), It Seems To Be Doing Fine. Been Doing Fine For Over A Year Now. Better Option Would Be Abs Or Petg. I Might Design A Handle For This Since I Now Have A Printer Capable Of Printing Objects Up To 400M In Height.
