Description
This Is An Universal Junction Box For The Nest Protect V2. It Was Designed To Mount A Mains Powered Np Anywhere On The Ceiling / Wall And Provide Room For The Cabling And Connect To Cable Ducts. There Are Two Entry / Exits Points With Strain Reliefs With Breakout Hole Covers, Which Allow End Or Feedthrough Cabling. There Are 4 Screw Holes That Allow The Unit To Be Mounted With The Original Np Screws. However I Used Carpet Sticky Tape To Fix The Unit Onto My Ceiling I Used The Following Materials: 4X 3.5 X 20 Mm Woodscrew To Mount The Mounting Bracket 2X 3.5 X 16 Mm Woodscrew To Mount The Strain Relief 1X 2 Pole 1.5-2.5Mm2 Screw Connector Notes: - Breaking Away The Hole Covers Requires A Bit More Force Than Intended, But Suggest To Remove From The Inside Out. - Do Not Fully Tighten The Screws Of The Mount Plate As It Will Compress The Rubber Ring Fully And Will Not Provide Room To Slide The Np On
