I Call It, The Thin Guide! The Thin Filament Guide Is Much Smaller And Thinner Than The Original But Still Fits The Printer Great And Still Works Like A Charm! It Also Uses Way Less Filament And Prints Much Faster! So, If Your Looking For A Guide Without All That Baggage, Then Try It Out! I Also Wanted Something A Little Sleeker And More Simplistic Design Wise. This Filament Guide Is Designed To Fit The Monoprice Maker Select 3D Printer And All Its Relatives (Wanhao Duplicator I3, Etc). The Guide Clips Onto The Top Of The Frame And Is Easily Moveable. While Many Other Filament Guides For The I3 Are Designed To Be Screwed In Along Side The Filament Spool Holder, This One Is Designed To Go On Without Any Needed Hardware. The Reasoning Behind This? Because I Have My Filament Spool Holder Mounted On The Control Box Currently (And It Will Be Mounted On Top Of The Enclosure Soon) And Wanted Something That Fit On The Printer Without Needing To Buy Screws For It. This Is My First Design Ever, And I'M Pretty Dang Proud Of It.
