Update: Before And After Photos White Part Is Before Upgrade With Noted "Ringing" In The Print From Z Wobble. Black Figure Is From After Upgrade Notice How Smooth The Object Is, There Is Light From Above To Try And Provoke A Shadow To Bring Out The Z Wobble. I Will Add Additional "After" Photos As Prints Are Made. Note: These Parts Likely Only Work With The Maylan M150 3D Printer, However If You Have A Similar Model That You Were Able To Use These Parts On Please Let Me Know So I Can Update This Info This Is A Stabilizer For The Z Axis Screw. I Recommend Printing The Z Axis Stabilizer Kit First To Acquire A True 90 Degree Z Axis. After Installing The Kit My Printer Continued To Suffer From Z Wobble, At First I Thought It To Be A Bent Z Rod However While Moving The Z Axis I Could See The Lead Screw Swaying From Side To Side As It Spun And Was Not Bent. I Designed These Parts To Stabilize The Z Screw And Prevent Swaying As The Z Axis Moves, Thus Reducing Or Even Eliminating Z Wobble In Your Prints. There Are Many Options For Similar Parts However I Did Not Come Across Any For The M150 Maylan 3D Printer. Recommendations: Measure Your Posts (Support Rod And Z Screw) Both The Outer Distance And Inner Distance And Compare To The Prints After The First Few Layers Are Printed. Due To Different Extrusion Calibrations You May Need To Determine The % Difference And Scale The Design To Compensate For Different Extrusion Settings That May Cause Tolerances To Be Slightly Off. These Are Designed With Tight Tolerances. My V3 Had More Slop Than I Preferred Though Still Produced Little To No Z Wobble On My Prints. If Your Z Screw Has 1-1.5Mm Play You Should Still See An Amazing Improvement If Your Printer Is Suffering From Z Wobble Prior To The Upgrade. Additional Parts: 4X M3X 20 Hex Screws (Same As Whats On The Printer, Just Longer, You Will Need At Least 6Mm Longer Than Stock As That Is The Thickness Of The Part) 1.) Print Parts 2.) Remove The Top Section Of The Printer 3.) Loosen The Triangular Metal Piece On Post And Allow To Slide Down The Rod. 4.) Install Part With Elongated Portion Facing Down (Note: Parts Are Marked "L" & "R") 5.) The Part Should Fit With Little To No Play But Not Snug. Reassemble Top Portion, Using Longer Screws Reattach The Triangular Piece Underneath Your New Printed Parts And Tighten To Secure Both Rods In To Place. 6.) Print Something Awesome! Fyi: A Bent Z Screw Is A Bent Z Screw. This Parts Will Not Cure Z Wobble From A Bent Z Screw, Replace With New Lead Screws Then Install This Awesome Upgrade.
