This Is A Printable Microphone Saddle And Post To Accompany Jules Ryckenbusch'S Instructable For Modifying A Cheap Lcd Condenser Microphone: Http://Www.Instructables.Com/Id/Modify-A-Cheap-Ldc-Condenser-Microphone/ I Documented My Build Here: Https://Tombenedict.Wordpress.Com/2016/10/09/Bm-800-Microphone-Conversion-Part-1/ Https://Tombenedict.Wordpress.Com/2016/10/22/Bm-800-Microphone-Conversion-Part-2/ I Machined The Original Out Of Aluminum, But After Printing A Capsule Saddle For The Mid-Side Version Of This Microphone, I Realized A 3D Printed Saddle For This Project Would Work Just As Well. This Will Fit The Mounting Hole Pattern Of The Neewer Nw-800 Microphone Body, But Should Fit Many Other Bm-800 Microphones As Well. It Is Designed Specifically For The Transsound Tsb-2555B Capsule Jules Used In His Article. If You Choose To Use Some Other Capsule, You Will Need To Re-Design The Part.
