Wanhao Duplicator i3 Z-Axis Stop bracket
Description
I Recently Purchased A Printinz Print Bed For My Wanhao Duplicator I3. It'S Great, But It'S Thick, So You Can'T Get The Built In Bed Down Low Enough To Get The Printinz Bed In Without Adjusting The Z-Axis Stop Switch. There Are Two Sets Of Mounting Holes, And I Found Neither Worked. There Is A Bracket That You Can Get From The Wanhao Usa Website, But I Found That It Didn'T Really Work Well. Once The Screws Were In Place, They Would Slide Up And Down. There'S A Copy Of It Here On Thingiverse Somewhere, But I Can'T Find It Right Now To Link To It. Anyway, I Made This Bracket With Distinct Screw Holes To Give A Tighter More Stable Hold. You Will Need To Take The Screws Out Of The Current Z-Axis Stop Switch To Take It Off. There Will Be Two White Circular Spaces--Save Them, You'Ll Need Them. Take One Of The Spacers And Put It On One Of The Screws, Then Screw The Z-Axis Stop To The Bracket. Use A Screw From Another Project To Screw In The Other Side Of The Z-Axis Stop To The Bracket. Then Take The Other Spacer And Put It On The Other Screw, And Screw That In From Outside The Printer, Through The Pre-Drilled And Tapped Hole, And Then Into The Bracket. Add Another Screw Going From The Outside Into The Bracket, And You'Ve Got A Secured Switch. You May Be Able To Do It Only With The Screws That Came With The Printer, But I Don'T Think It Would Hold Up To Repeated Use, So I Found Some Screws That Worked In My Screw Collection. (What, We All Have A Screw Collection, Right?) The Pictures Kind Of Show You How It Works. They Aren'T The Best, And I'M Sorry.
