Description
After I Finished Building My Kossel There Were Always Issues To Keep The Hotend Temperature Stable. I Noticed That With The Original Fan Shroud The Cold Air Was Blown Not Only Onto He Cold Zone But Also To The Hot End. The Current Design Eliminates This Issue And Simply Works. Also A Small Amount Of The Air Is Blown Below The Nozzle And Improves Bridging Quality. I Did Want To Keep The Effector Assembly As Light As Possible So Another Cooling Fan Was Not An Option. Also I Removed The Kapton And Secured The Thermistor With A Bend Piece Of Steel Wire. It Is Fixed With A Short M2.5 Screw Thats Bolted Into The Thread Of The Fixations Screw Of The Heater Cartridge. Check The Picture For Details. Align The Fan-Side To The Print Bed So You Nearly Need No Support Material. I Printed It In Pla But Abs Is Fore Sure The Better Choice.
