Y Axis Tensioner Idler (CTC, Geetech, Pro B)
Description
## Details This Is A Front Panel Y Tensioner To Replace That Found In Geetech And Ctc Ebay Kit Printers. The Default One That Comes With These Printers Has An Infill Of About 5-10% And Mine Snapped So After A Few Hours Hacking Together A Temporary Y Axis Idler / Tensioner I Was Able To Get My Printer To Print A New One That I Designed In Autodesk 123D. Printer Now Works Perfectly And The Part Has Been Upgraded To Have Slightly Thicker Walls. Print This With As Much Extra Infill As You Want, Ideally 100% For The Ultimate Strength But 50% Will Work Fine :) I Have Added A Photo Of My Printer So You Can See The Type That This Part Goes With, It May Work For Yours But I Was Unable To Find Any That Fit My Printer (It Was Just A Kit From Ebay) Update: I'Ve Split The Top Half Of This Into A Separate Piece And Added Alignment Pins, This Will Allow You To Print It In Two Halves Assemble The Y Idle Gears Inside The Piece And Then Super Glue It Together. This Is More Like How The In-Box Piece From The Kit Works When It Is Assembled At The Factory. ## Social If Your Interested In 3D Printing I Make Videos About My Own 3D Printing Escapades On Youtube Including Upgrade Tutorials, Mods, And Other Misc Stuff.
