Assembled Objects Are Awesome And I Really Like Mixing Materials And Elements Like Bolts, Nuts And Aluminum...This Is My Design For A Solder Spool Stand, The Extra Parts You Need Are A Few Inches Of 3/4" Aluminum Tube (Could Be Replaced By A Pvc Pipe), Aluminum For The Handle, Some M3 Bolts, Some Foam (Used As Anti-Slip Surface For The Base...Could Also Be Replaced By Four Rubber Feet) And, The Most Important, -And Extremely Useful For 3D Printings!- Some M3 Thread Inserts (Link Attached Below). There Is Only One File For The Side Of The Holder But, Being Both Sides Similar, You Just Have To Print It Twice. Cheers! Updated: 04/03/2017: The Handle Used To Be Placed Below The C.G. (Center Of Gravity) So, The Holder Tend To Flip Down When I Grab It. I Modified The Design To Add A Hole For The Thread-Insert Right At The Center Of The Solder Spool What Solves The Problem And At The Same Time Prevents The Solder Spool From Falling Off The Stand. The Remaining Hole At The Center Of The Piece Could Be Used As A Second Bolt Thread-Insert If You Want To Have A Fixed Non-Basculating Handle...The Only Limitation Now Is That You Can'T Replace The Aluminum Tube For A Wood Dowel...But You Still Can Use A Pvc Pipe!
