Case for RAMPS Full Graphic Smart LCD (OpenBuilds V-Slot Mounts)

Description

This Case Is Designed To House The Ramps Full Graphic Lcd Smart Controller. I Designed This Specifically For Use With The Reach3D Printer, However The Case Could Be Mounted To Any Printer With V-Slot Aluminum Extrusion Frame, Or As A Standalone Case With Any Other Printer. There Are A Few Mounting Options With This Case. First, Is The Top Mount. This Is Designed To Be Mounted At The Top Of A Vertical 2040 Extrusion. There Are Two Mounts For The Top Mount Option: "Top Mount - Center" And "Top Mount - Offset". The Offset Looks Wonky, But Works Fine. I Needed This Offset To Accomodate Other Item I Have Mounted On The Top Of My Reach3D Printer, Such As The Stock Spool Holder And Some Custom Wire Routing. Next Is The Side Mount. This Mount Is Desinged To Mount To The Corner Of A Vertical 2040 Extusion. Specifically On The Reach3D, This Mount Goes On The Vertical 2040, Just Above The Plate That Holds The Yze Stepper Motors. The Mount Should Not Interfere With The Extruder Motors Or The Travel Of The Gantry Arm. This Mount Will Swivel And Both Ends, Allowing For A Varity Of Positions. Last Is A Stand Alone Option. If You Like The Case, But Don'T Want To Mount It To The Frame, You Can Still Use The Same Case With The "Free Stand". Simply Insert The "Free Stand Into The Slot On The Back Of The Case And It Will Sit On A Table. Almost All Of The Items Can Be Printed Without Supports. The Only Item That Will Require Supports Is The "Swivel Clip - Frame". The Case Was Designed To Require As Little Hardware As Possible. The Top Mount Requires No Additional Hardware. The Side Mount Will Require 2 X M3 12Mm Screws And 2 X M3 Nuts. (These Nuts Will Press Fit Into The Provide "M3 T-Nut" And Are Used To Mount The Side Mount In Place.) Super Glue Is Needed If You Wish To Use The Included "Reach3D Name Plate" Update 10/17/2017: Replaced The Top Mount - Center File With A New One That Fits Better. There'S Actually Two Versions Of This Part, And "A" And "B". The "B" Version Add Some Additional Features. There'S A Small Round Hole For The Stock "Reach3D" Printer Spool Holder. There'S A Slot On The Left Side For Velcro Or Tie Wrap As Strain Releaf For Hot End Wiring. On The Right Side Is A Mount Point For A Part Cooling Solution I'M Working On. If You Don'T Want These Additional Features, Use The "A" Version.
