Fai-Chun for Lunar New Year

Fai-Chun for Lunar New Year

Description

Traditionally, Chinese Writes Their New Year Wishes On Red Pieces Of Paper Which Are Posted On Walls And Doors. These Are Called Fai-Chun'S. Here Are Some Chinese New Year Wishes Printed During The Cny 2017. They Are Good For Every Year Though. Most Of Them Were Done Using The Chinese Calligraphy Editor: Http://Www.Chinese-Tools.Com/Tools/Calligraphy.Html A Few Of Them Were Written By My Wife And Were Scanned 3D Builder Is Used To Turn Them Into Models. The Thickness Of The Red Background Is 0.5 Mm (0.3 + 0.2) And That For The Words In Black Is 0.4 Mm (0.2 + 0.2). So, Both Of Them Are 2 Layers Thick. Note That The Printer Software I Use Fixes The First Layer Thickness At 0.3 Mm. They Are Printed Using A Dual Material Printer. If One Uses A Single Material Printer, One May Need To Increase The Thickness To Facilitate Filament Change For Printing The Words. The Display Is Built By My Wife Using An Empty Filament Reel (Robox'S Smart-Reel) And A Pringles Chip Cylindrical Carton Wrapped With A Nice Looking Cloth. See One Of The Photos. I Think She'S Done A Nice Macguyver Styled Piece Of Work.
