Description
This Belt Clip Is Used To Tidy Up Excess Belt Inside Your Printer Or Other Devices That Uses Gt2 Belt. The Belt Is Folded Over So The Teeth Mesh Together And Hold The Belt Tightly But Not Under Strain. A Cable Tie Guide Notch Is Shaped Into The Open End If You Want To Use One, I Don'T As The Part Is Shaped To Hold The Belt In Place. This Grip Is Better Than The Cable Tie Method Shown In The User Guide As It Places Less Strain On The Belt. I Use This As The Tensioner On My Belt On The X Axis Of My Anet A8. The Belt Turns Around A Pulley On The Head Assembly And Folds Back To This Part Where The Grip Is Used To Hold The Belt Under Tension. Using This Part The Belt Can Be Tightened In Two-Millimetre Steps. This Also Allows The Belt Tension To Be Removed In Under Ten Seconds Should There Be A Need. I Printed With 100% Infill As The Part Needs To Be Strong Long Term. I Also Tried With 0% And It Seemed Just The Same On Quick Testing.
