Raise3D - N-Series - Front Mounted Blower Fan Duct
Description
Front Mounted Blower Fan Duct. Designed To Be Mounted With 2 M3 X 12 Screws (I Think That Is What I Was Able To Get From Ace Hardware) To The Front Of The Extruder Housing. The Shaft Length Of The Part Is 9.5Mm And You Need It To Screw Into The Extruder Housing. Not Sure How Deep The Hole Is. The Holes For The Blower Fan Are Sized To Take M3 Thread Inserts. Which Can Be Gotten From Http://Shop.Bondtech.Se/Ec/Components/Thread-Insert-M3-10-Pcs.Html Or Http://Shop.Bondtech.Se/Ec/Components/Thread-Insert-M3.Html The Blower Fan Is Installed Onto The Mount After The Mount Is Installed To The Housing. Which Is The Purpose Of Using Threaded Inserts. I Installed The Inserts From The Side Facing The Extruder. Note: I Had A Really Bad Issue With Filament Getting Stuck On Top Of The Duct. I Have An Idea For An Alter Design That Will Not Use Any Ducts At All. It Will Use The Blower To Just Direct The Air Straight At The Part. I Need To Prototype It Though.
