Description

Shunting Viaduct Ho Scale

This Is A H0 Scale (1:87) Shunting Viaduct. It Is A Curved Ramp That Goes Down From 80 Mm In Height To 7 Mm In A Total Track Length Of Approx 100 Cm. The Curved Part Has A Radius Of 415 Mm And Is Designed For Use With The Fleishmann Curved Rails With That Radius (415 Mm). It Comes In 7 Parts That Are All Under 180 Mm Long And Max 125 Mm Wide, So It Can Be Printed On A Wide Range Of 3D Printers. Except For Part 5, All Parts Can Be Printed Without Support Material. The Design Has Been Created For A Layer Height Of 0.18 Mm. It Can Best Be Printed Using A 0.3 Mm Or 0.4 Mm Nozzle Diameter. For The Curved Parts (Part 4+5+6) A Sidewalk Can Be Optionally Printed Alongside The Track. (See All 6 "Sidewalk" Stl Files). To Hide The Seam Between Parts 1-2 And 2-3 Extra Pillars Can Be Optionally Printed That Can Be Glued On The Outside (Wall) Of The Viaduct. (See All 4 "Pillar" Stl Files). The Viaduct Contains The Relief Of More Than 17000 Bricks On Its Walls. This Relief Makes It Easy To "Wash In" The Mortar Of The Brick Walls With Some Light Paint (Grey) Color, Before Painting The Brick (Dark Red) With A Roller Or Sponge. For Me Printing Times Per Part Varied From 8 - 16 Hours. It Took Approximately 2 Kg Of Filament To Print All Parts. I Have Included A Pdf Drawing Showing The Most Important Sizes Of The Viaduct In Mm. Happy Printing! Huib Schippers (Tinkerman)
