Bed retainer clip for Vertex K8400 /w heat
Description
I Made This Bed Clip To Use With The Velleman Vertex K8400 After Upgrading It With A Heated Bed. The Overall Height Of The Printbed Stack Is Increased From 8.4Mm To 11.5 Mm. Parts Added Are The Heat Pcb And A Layer Of Gasket Cork Sheet For Insulation. The Cork Sheet Is 1.5Mm And The Pcb Is 1.6Mm. The Attached Pdf Shows The Details. The Cork Sheet Also Acts As A Spacemaker For The Termistor+Cables. Update: Added Steps And One Clip For A 3 Mm Alu Plate To Replace The 4 Mm Glass Plate (+Buildtak In Both Cases). Be Careful When Using The Alu Plate. Make Sure The Supply Leads Are Filed Flush With The Pcb And Cover It With A Piece Of Polyamide Tape To Avoid Short-Circuit.
