Description

_______________________________________________________________________ Anet A8 Frame Stabilizer For The Z-Axis (Anti Wobble Mod) One Optimized Version For Reduced Print Time, One Solid Version Check The Scaling Before You Print (Cura For Gods Sake Stop Auto Scaling My Prints) I Recommend Leo_N Backets For This Mod Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1872162. _______________________________________________________________________ _ _ Hi There, This Is My Iteration Of A Frame Stabilizer. Yes There Are Other Ones Already, I Know.... But Have You Actually Seen Them? Seriously. Ever Single One Has Geometric Holes In Them, From Circles, Over Triangles, To Hexagons. And Not A Single One Is Actually Connected To The Frame. Wtf. This One Is Connected To The Frame. Every Part Uses Two Screw Holes That Are Already Available. You Will Have To Drill Another Two Holes Into The Acrylic Frame, And One Into Leo_N'S Backets Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1872162. You Will Also Need Five M3 Screws With Washers And Nuts For Each Part. This Stabilizer Doesn'T Has Any Geometric Holes. They Don'T Add Any Advantage To The Print And Only Increase The Print Time. The "Enhanced" Version Even Uses A Few Grams Less Material Than Similar Stabilizers With Holes And Is Optimized For Reduced Print Time. There Is Also A Solid Version Available For Improved Esthetics, If You Really Think You Need That (But It Needs 20% Longer For The Print And 40% More Material) Printing Facts: This Is A Long Print, Make Sure Everything Works Fine. I Recommend Custom Supports. If That Is Not Available Grid Support With 0% Infill Works Too. Though, You Will Need Some Time To Clean Up The Print. Enhanced Version Print Time (60 Mm/S) = 8 H Material Used (Grid Support 0%) = 110 G Solid Version Print Time (60 Mm/S) = 10 H Material Used (Grid Support 0%) = 145 G
