Pegboard hook system
Description
This System Is Designed To Work With Pegboard Made From Wood Or Pressboard About 1/8" Thick, With 1/4" Holes On 1" Spacing. When Your Print Settings Are Tuned, The Hooks Should Snap Into The Pegboard Snugly With Very Little Slop. If You Are Using A Thin Metal Pegboard Panel, Or A Thicker Wooden Pegboard, The Fit May Not Be As Good. This Collection Includes: * One-Piece *Curved* Hooks, Based On An Arc Segment, In Various Lengths And Thicknesses * One-Piece *Hooked* Hooks That Are Flat With A Little Retaining Barb On The End, In Various Lengths And Thicknesses * Two-Piece *Long Hooks* That Are Stabilized Well With A *Lateral Brace* Piece, In Several Lengths * Arrays Of 1, 3, 5, And 7 *Loops* In Four Diameters. Choose A Loop Count And Upper And Lower Diameter, Print Two Loop Arrays, Then Attach A Pair Of *Rack Supports* To Them To Create A Rack Of Screwdriver Holders. A *Single* Rack Support Is Also Provided, In Case You Just Want One Loop Without A Second One Below It. * *Open Loops* For Round-Handled Tools Such As Ratchet Wrenches And Hammers, Which Let You Snap The Tool Into Place. * A *Drill Holder* System Designed To Hold A Cordless Drill. Print One *Drill Holder Front*, One *Drill Holder Rear*, And One *Double Brace 5In With Pegs*. You Can Also Brace It With Two *Lateral Braces*, But You May Have Trouble With Stability, As The Drill Is Pretty Heavy. * A Model Showing Only The Hook And Peg That Fit Into The Pegboard So That You Can Design Whatever Hook Shape You Want Using Your Cad Software Of Choice, *Pegboard-V-Default.Stl* There Are *V* And *H* Models Included In This Collection, Which Stand For *Vertical* And *Horizontal*. The Hooks Themselves Are All *V* Parts. Some Are Equipped With A Rectangular Notch, Which Accepts A Mating *H* Part. The Loops Are *H* Parts That Require A *V-Rack Support* In Order To Attach Them To The Pegboard. **Note:** The *Double Brace With Pegs* Parts Are Only Designed To Work With The *Drill Holder* Hooks As Of This Writing. If You Try To Assemble Two *Long Hooks* With A *Double Brace With Pegs* Part, You Will Find That The *Double Brace'S* Pegs Don'T Line Up With Any Holes. However, Two *Long Hooks* Plus A Pegless *Double Brace* Works Great. **Printing Tips:** * I Use Abs, But Pla Ought To Work Fine. * Adjust Your Print Settings Until The Pegs Fit Snugly And The Hooks Feel Firm, Not Loose And Wobbly, After Being Installed. Get This Dialed In Before You Go Printing 20 Hooks At Once. * Do Not Change The Scaling. * Increasing Your Extrusion Multiplier (Try 1.05 Or 1.1) Is One Way To Make The Part "Swell" And Give It A Tighter Fit.
